RESILIENCE is hosting the next in our Careers Café series aimed at 16 to 24 year olds, and showcasing brilliant careers and wiggly journeys. Join us FREE on-line for a lunch and learn 'podcast' style chat with Dr. Richard Todd, Process Development and Digital Training Fellow for the University of Birmingham. Richard will be discussing his journey from "petri dishes to pandemic powerhouse".
Richard has 10 years of experience across the life sciences sector, including industry, academia and government roles. He holds an MSc in Immunology and an MBA from Imperial College and the University of Birmingham. Richard deployed the UK government’s largest COVID testing facility, capable of processing 150k samples daily, and was responsible for downscaling the government's testing facilities post-pandemic. Before that, he worked as a research scientist for Hygiena International developing food microbiology tests for public safety. Today, Richard is a Process Development and Digital Training Fellow for the University of Birmingham.
