Women in Biopharma Leadership Workshop

For women who are transitioning from academia to the biopharma industrial sector

This workshop has been organised to support women working in junior academic positions with the transition into Biopharma and with working towards leadership positions in this industry. The event will include talks from women working in entry-level, senior management-level, and C-suite positions in organisations variously looking to develop gene therapies, new biological technologies, and perform contract development and manufacturing for advanced medicines. Career reflection activities will involve exploring pathways to leadership roles for various biopharma careers through a writing exercise and a roundtable discussion.

ABOUT WORKSHOP LEADS 

Dr Bernice Wright is a research scientist, a teaching lecturer on the Manufacture and Commercialisation of Stem Cell and Gene Therapies taught MSc programme, as well as RESILIENCE CoE co-investigator and lead for STEM outreach in the Department of Biochemical Engineering at University College London (UCL).
